hi there im new to this so please be paitent and gentle
i have a psp and wanting to play downloaded games i.e put firmware 1.50 im not to sure which operating system i got but it says the system software of my psp is version 3.71.can i downgrade if so where do i get the files to do this and how i have a 2 gig mem stick and psp usb lead if this helps thank you for taking your time to read this and if you can help that would be great

your best bet would be to install custom firmware

the latest is 4.01m33-2

since you on 3.71 Sony Firmware

your going to need what is called a pandora tool battery

its 10.50$


you can make one out of your original battery but its really hard to fix and could possibly damage your battery pretty bad

if its a slim you cant downgrade to 1.50 it will brick your psp

ill help you out further when you get a pandora battery

there is no alternative.

if you would like to try to make you own pandora battery with your original battery i can link you to a guide but to fix it you will need soldering skills
