Security on PS2 dvd game

I didn't check if there was any security file on ps2 game ...
but my question is : are those security file needed on the back up (cose i have anydvd that run in the back so ... just wondering if it was a cause that made my game laggy ... and/or unplayable)

I don't fully understand your question, but if by security, you mean the special coding in a PS2 game disc, you'll need Swap Magic or a modchip to play backups.

there is/was the odd game out there,that has anti-mod protection,and there is no way to boot them.
why other software companys didnt follow suit with this type of protection beggars belief

... there is always a way ...
at start of playstation , they said you can't boot em w/o hardware mod , check now-a-day we boot them from cd ... no hardware mods

unfortunetly in this case there isnt of yet
the games were not hat popular i guess for the hackers to crack the protection hidden in them
one game i can think of was rugby league 2
