My copy of Dynasty Warriors 5 just got scratched to heck by in a confrontation with a very angry person...so I'm downloading a torrent of it which is still legal since I have a copy of it from what I understand, right?

Now here's what I need help with:

I know that I can play PS1 backups on a slim line ps2 by blocking 3 sensors (I already have 3 blocked so don't turn this into a discussion on whether or not you need 2/3 please). Then you put in a regular PS1 game turn it on, open the lid and switch them at the ps1 logo screen. I've tested this with a copy of chocobo racing and it works...

Now get ready because here comes the question =-):

Would this work if I put in a ps2 game and then swap?

I'd test it with another PS2 game but being how uTorrent says I have 4 weeks I don't think I'm in any rush to run to the store and buy some DVD-Rs.

no! you need swap magic or a chip to load a ps2 backup

or you could get the memento memory card and patch the iso before burning your backup

The PS2 allows you to insert a flash drive, there has to be some way to exploit that, right? Is that cogswap? I'd like to ask you what it is but that's just lazy...so time to go tut searching =-)
