Hi im new to this sort of stuff but im really in a jam. I recently downloaded psxeven so I can play my ps1 games on my computer and it works fine but my drive spins slow and is a little bit stuffed so the games jerk when i run them from the cd i was wondering if anyone could suggest the easiest possible way to burn my game files into and iso format and save em on my computer so i can run em without my disk. Please explain your methods as if you were explaining it to a child cause i dont have a clue. Thx

Download either ImgBurn(successor of dvddcrypter) or alcohol 120 and follow this guide for ripping,

Dont concern yourself with the burning part of the guide if you dont want to make a new backup disc.

^^ good try, but that is for ps2.. the question was about ps1 images specifically for emulators.
