I need help in general with it. I have a slimline PS2 and I'm using Codebreaker v 10.0
I've downloaded several .elf files including cogswap, uLaunchELF, CDLoader, bootadvance, and keylauncher
I have a crap load of CD-Rs and a new pack of DVD-Rs.
I need to know what goes on the USB Flash Drive, How I load the Elf Launcher, How to load CogSwap and anything important lol which is probably almost everything
Do I need to use ESR Beta to play just regular old PS2 backups? I don't understand the whole ESR Beta thing but I understand Free MC Boot. PLEAASSSSSEEEE HELP ME (lol jk but seriously, I could use a little more help)
Once the free_mcboot is installed to your memory card you then launched you will see uLe.
You can use it to transfer the ESR Beta to your mc, and configure a shortcut to it, so then all you would have to do is stick your backup in the PS2, hit your shortcut key and play.
Thanks, one more ?. Were the ESR Beta 9 link and uLaunch guide supposed to be a guide on using winhiip. I can't read it right now, I'll edit it if the answer becomes obvious =-)
Edit: Also what do you mean by "patched"...with Halo 2 modding I know sometimes you'd apply patches to a map to get a mod, so is it for mods?

No the guides I posted were so you learn how to use uLaunch in order to do many things with the PS2.
If you use ESR to boot backups the ISOimage needs to first be patched in order to make the PS2 think its a video file.
It doesn't change any files, just adds it so when you browse your ISO image it will say DVD Video.
Sorry reading is kind of a necessity to learn what you can do with the PS2.
