4.01m33-2 firmware psx problems.

Here's my situation.

Just installed the 4.01m33-2 CFW with the 1.50 addon for phat model on my psp phat.

Everything went fine.

I've tried loading a few different psone games into the following folder

K:PSP/Game/name of game/eboot

Games will never work always comes up with error code FFFFFFF

If i look at the information about the file its showing the correct file size.

Also im using popstationGUI to convert the image/bin files to psp format.

Also i have no popsloader installed at all.

Is this needed and if so where can i get the 4.01 version of it?

i tried the same thing but i dont think theres a popsloader for thth firmware yet. i have 4.01 m33-2

Well i tried some other games and they worked.So it must be just bad luck that the first 3 games i tried all failed.
