when i tried ripping four movies, one (Jumper) worked fine then i tried 10,000 B.C., Rambo:the fight continues, and Fool's Gold and on them it gives me a error with somthing about a loop problem (sorry about lack of info on the error message). any ideas about the culprit? maybe a new form of copy protection?

Not really a newer form of copy protection -just one decrypter can't handle since it hasn't been updated in forever.
HD Decrypter (free) instead - here's a link - link .
AnyDVD and CloneDVD - not free but has a 21 day free trial.

I ripped all of those except the Fight Continues with DvdFab. I have Platinum, but the free version will do them all.

ya try different dvd ripping software some free ones will work don't waste money for as good or better software that's free
