first things first-i'm a newbie to all this-Followed your eeprom reader tutorial-built it- and it worked great-so thanks very much for a clear tutorial & easy access to software-My bro found this xbox in is new house-It booted to green & red flashing lights-took it apart-modchip looks tidy-but wire on the one(i think you call them Do points) is detached-so i looked on llamas old modchip diagrams & loads of others-to see if i could have a go fixing it-none of them has the wire in the same place as the detatched end of the one i have here-so i looked closer at a photo of llamas-by the ground screw (next to modchip)are two tiny resisters or somthing like that with numbers R7C9 C7C4 above them-on mine the one under C7C4 is missing-also very tiny wire goes up between R7C9 C7C4 as been lifted.can it be repaired-if not-can i use the 120g hd from it in my sons unmodded box-Be very grateful for some help-look forward to a reply.

D0 point location varies slightly by model

http://www.xbox-modchips.com/tutorials/X...s/d0_points.jpg (top of board.. I prefer the underneath one)

As for the damage.. it may be beyond repair, but if you can take a good clear and large picture we might be able to tell you where it goes to.

I think you found out why this xbox has been scrapped.
