Hi! I recently burned Kingdom Hearts it works quite fine only first cut scenes sound like cuts. And sometimes I get dvd read error when I put it in. I have no problems with other games that are burned for me by someone else. I used DVD decrypter on 1.0x speed but I think it still went too fast like 5000kb/s. I used Verbatim dvds. What did I do wrong? Is this normal does it happen often?

might be the disks, the way you burnt it
you could try another type of disk if you have it
also might be a region issue,as some have problems playing cutscenes
check if the region of the game matches your console.you can do this by opening the iso image and seeing if its sles/slus (pal/ntsc)

I now burned FFXII and same problem occurs, cutscenes run bad. I think its bad dvds then. In this forum I read that you need to burn mds file not iso... is this true because I had no mds file to burn, I burned only isos. And what dvds do you reccomend, right now im using some Verbatim dvd+r, also after burning the dvd I get strange dark purple ring around the edges, is this normal?

you only select the mds if you have it,they dont come with every iso
you might wanna try a dvd-r type brand
but with those dvd+r,you might try booktyping it to dvd-rom,but this can only be done if your burner allows it
