Help My Roms Not Being Displayed On My Emulator

Hi I really don't know why I am facing this. When I launch my Snes9xTyl emulator, I can't seem to locate my roms. After I navigate to the Rom directory, when I press to view them, am greeted by ... instead of the list of roms. Quite puzzling, I don't have problems with my genesis and Nes emulators. My version is 4.01 m33-2 fat PSP. Is it something to do with the format of my roms? They are all in zip.

You need to take them out of the .zip files and list put the .snes or whatever files there.

actually SNES9xTYL can run zip files. But I rather unzip them to the .smc file which is the SNES rom files

Thanks mrgooey, it worked they never showed up, due to me placing the actual zip files and not the .smc ones.
