I live in Japan and I have recently bought a HK unlocked V9 phone. I have been trying to enter my girlfriends email address to her contact list to send her text messages, since she has a different carrier than I do. I am getting an INVALID EMAIL error when I type her address (I.E. XXXXX..XX_XX..@XXXXX.NE.JP) I can send email to her using my old phone plus yahoo. Is there a way to fix this issue or mod my phone for it to allow me to msg her?
