Are the maxell 4.7GB DVD+RW CD's any good? I've tried to use some of them for burning, and right now I can't. I'm hoping that maybe this is a bad brand of CD, and not another hardware issue. Please reply on your opinion of this brand. Thanks!
I've used maxell's for a few hundred burns....they are decent, IMO. Not great, just decent. I have used the dvd+r & dvd-r only. I wouldn't suggest using dvd+rw for movies.
Well in order to trully know the quality of the disc we need to know its manufacturer. So why dont you download DVD Identifier and give us the manufacturer info and name.
In my experience Ive used maxell before and they where made by ridata and they burned pefectly. So why dont you post this info and then we can help you a bit more.
I've burnt literally 1000s of Maxell 16x +R and they are most certainly not junk. I can't comment on their rewritables though.
