Can't copy dvd without commentary?!

All right so long story short I have been backing up all my dvds to a hdd that I then in the near future (provided I can find a 2.5 inch internal hdd that is over 500 gigs) I will put on my ps3. I have been using smart ripper which lets me spilt stuff up into chapters, titles, vobs or pretty much anyway I want.

Tonight i started to do my discs of sealab 2021, the first disc ripped fine... but when i did the second disc i was watching a few episodes to make sure i named them properly and they copied correctly when I noticed that every episode had commentary turned on.

Another long story short went through what i think is every possible file splitting and tried to copy it but everytime i do and then go to watch the episode the commentary is turned on.

I turned on the dvd to watch it on my dvd player on my computer and I noticed that when you click play all or you click any individual episode it asks right away if you want commentary on or off, and on is the first one highlighted.

Does anyone know a way to get rid of this? I would just like to copy each individual episode and watch it the regular way >.<

I would suggest using dvdfab HD decrypter, a free ripper, then using dvd shrink to compress it. Dvd shrink gives you the option to take out what you don't want, such as the comentaries.

I actually tried using dvd fab before I have started this method. My problem with dvd fab is I can't pick a specific episode, it only splits it up into .vobs and those are like one and a half of an episode or in some cases more.

uncheck the 2 channel audio (thats where the directors commentary is) and use the 5.1 channel audio only.

using better software would be good idea also
