Now you have proof you can complain to your senator/congressman about your isp blocking access to information..
Did you try using opendns for your lookups? http://www.opendns.com/
It worked for me when my isp started playing these games until I just decided to run my own dns server from here. (they blocked sopcast and quite a few streamed radio stations)

Not everything on TPB is illegal.. lots of linux distros and fully legal creative commons music there too.. blocking websites is illegal in a democracy.. it's china type big brother coming home to "the land of the free".. hahaha find your isp's dns server numbers, post them all over the net with details of the blocking... and watch them get taken off the web within hours.. they will get millions of complaints from upset customers.. ;)

Quote from Torrentfreak article
Quote: The Pirate Bay website is offline at the moment, unrelated to this news, as they are doing some server maintenance and site upgrades. They will be back soon.
Although TPB seems to be working perfectly right now

ahhhh... torrentfreak, always days late with the news..
What has been going on is this.. TPB admins have been setting up the secure side of the site, and are looking at ip masking for the tracker too. It has resulted in some downtime as they switch from http to https and back again. AFAIK both are now working and stable as of today anyways. We await news of the secure tracker with ip masking. ;)
