psx eboot games on psp plz help

i have a 3.71 m33-3 fat psp i have an eboot for a psx game in my game folder but when i go to my ms under games and pic the psx game it just shows my background and freezes there then i have to hold the power swith so it will reboot

First, make sure the eboot is inside a folder that is inside the game folder. For example, it should be in:

x:/PSP/GAME/PsxGame/EBOOT.PBP

and not

x:/PSP/GAME/EBOOT.PBP

If this is not your problem, then go into the recovery menu (Holding R while the PSP turns on) and set the Game folder to be 3.71. If this doesn't fix it either, then go into Advanced Configuration and disable everything.

i did have it in a folder psp/game/thps/eboot
so i tryed the other things and still nothing and including thps 1 & 2 i tryed medievil II and gauntlet legends and they all do the same thing

Do you have any custom plugins that mess with the coldboot (Opening_Plugin.rco) or theme? Sometimes that will disallow the playing of eboots.

the plugins i have are popsloader and cwcheat i have a theme that i D/l its Gears of War could that be the problem?

Try it without the theme installed. It's highly possible that it's the problem, but not a guarantee.

Format memory stick make sure the games are in PSP/GAME/name here/EBOOT.PBP
Also make sure the game is properly converted.
Try Uninstalling any themes and only have one plugin on at a time (if you are unaware of psp homebrew) Poploader.prx should be in SEPLUGINS and enable it in recovery mode.

Correct me if I'm wrong,but I believe 3.71 M33-(2-4) comes with Popsloader already in it.I'm running on 3.71 M33-4 with no additional programs in it and I'm able to run Final Fantasy VII,Gran Turismo,and some other games.Try removing popsloader to see if it works.
