ok, this is seriously annoying. im not a n00b but i haven't been succesful with loading psx games on my psp. i understand the need to convert the iso and what not, but i need to know what program and what version please! i've looked all over and i don't know what's compatable with 4.01-m33! thanks

You just create a folder for it, rename the file eboot.iso, then put the folder in your PSP/Game folder. Now you should just be able to run the game in your list of games on your memory card from the dashboard. Some people have found they don't need popsloader so try it without it and see. It should run, but if it freezes or something, then you'll need popsloader.
Yea, that doesn't work, pops loader doesn't work, and converting it doesn't work! It always comes up as corrupted data, this is getting annoying. I just really want PSX games on my PSP, am i just gona have to downgrade?

I have also 4.01 m33 and PSX games are working fine.
About that error, check in which folder have you put the games.
GAME 150, GAME or GAME 4.xx?
The game must be in Game folder and check in the recovery menu in configuration if it is set to 4.xx kernel or 1.5 kernel.It needs to be on 1.5 kernel.
Eh, I converted it to eboot. I remembered I needed the Base.PBP and Keys.BIN. I got em and it works beautifully, I've just never gotten it to work before. All I needed to do was get angry and do some crazy googling to get it to work. Thanks though.

u will need to do this http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/685036 or your pops won't work all so put your PSX game eboot into a folder the
same name as the game.in the root there is folder named PSP inside that is folder named GAME put your <game name Folder> in there with the eboot to that game like Final Fantasy named folder with the eboot for that game in it i all so heared if the folder is not the right name it won't work
