Hi, just have a question to run by everyone.

I can burn backups of movies and they work fine for me. When my friend tried the backups they won't play on his DVD player or his DVD burner but they play fine on his laptop (and they also plays fine on a different friends dvd player). I have a cheap Lennox player and he has a expensive Panasonic (or some other big name brand) and he has a LG Burner, and I'm not quite sure what kind is in his laptop. I'm using Princo media. Is it possible that both his player and burner are to picky for Princos but his laptop isn't? or could it be something else?

I also had another friend who had a dvd player that he paid $400 for and it wouldn't play half his movies so he went out and bought a $80 player and that one works fine. Whats up with the expensive players??

You are right certain players and burners can only play or burn certain media. Alot of the cheap players will play pretty much anything, while the more expensive players will play what they play EXTREMELY well, but they are very PICKY!!!
