Okay my 1080i 50" Plasma has bit the obsolete dust trail, I'ts almost 3 years old I am really tired of it anyway, next my Dolby EX Ultra II, 2 year old Onkyo receiver has to go for a Dolby True HD and more than one HDMI 1.3 imputs/outputs.

Oh and the burners are way out there price wise, along with $15 media and it's copy guarded so I couldn't possibly burn a fair use copy to protect the original from my Grandson's sticky four and seven year old fingers.

I have over 50 eyes and ears and wonder how much a handicap I will be under trying to see and hear it as the Blu Ray Gods intended(catchy Name Blu Ray/at least as cool as laser disc) .

I feel I'm staying in the time warp with this format until someone dazzles the techno junkies out there. And without all the copy guard crap to protect some really lame movies coming out so far this summer.
