Multiplayer in old school emulators on PSP

I have a question that, hopefully, is an easy one to answer. Do all retro emulators for the psp only have a netplay multiplayer function; making wireless internet a necessity when playing with multiple psps. Or is there, through some miracle, a way to do it through usb? Or perhaps, I don?t know much about networking, but using just a router to connect to psps. I also have a PS3, and I understand since I have a CFW my ps3 don?t like to recognize my psp, but they can communicate wirelessly, so could I possibly bridge the connection that way?

I just want a way to connect psps without internet so I can play GBA linked, or SNES NES etc? two player.

No, not every emulator has ad-hoc wireless, and I don't know of a single one that has infrastructure wireless.

This means that some can be played multiplayer, but only with PSP's that are in the same room as you. There's no need for a router or a PS3 because it's not over the internet, just a connection between the PSP's themselves.

I've got older versions of each of these emulators, and they work online well for me (as far as I remember, anyway).

(NOTE: I haven't tried the GBA emulator because it is in an Oriental language that I can't read.)
