how do i download wall-e so that i can actually play the game, can you tell me all the stages, even how to update the software if needed?

I assume you want to download Wall-E and play it on Nintendo DS? If so, you will need :
1. a DS flashcard
2. a micro SD card
3. installed system files (from DS flashcard website)
4. copy wall-e.nds (download from net) onto micro SD card
5. put micro SD card into DS flashcard and then put both into DS Console
6. play
come back if you need more info.

i have done all these things but when i turn the r4 on it says that it can't access the save data

Well, my first guess would be your R4 firmware but since you didn't tell us what it is no one can be sure.

my guess is the game wall.e is not playable on your current firmware. maybe r4 needs to release yet another firmware for new games. i think r4 had the same problem when hulk, etrain odyssey and final fantasy iv. i use supercard and acekard2 and never have any problem with new game releases.
