Just installed a Modbo 4.0 no Power

I have just installed a Modbo 4.0 on my V15 PS2 When I went to try it out but it wont turn on, there is a orange light just showing does anyone know why this would happen does this happen is you bridge wires or something?

Ok I just turned it on and now it starts it brings up the Matrix 1.93 logo , I put in a Copy of Splinter cell on a Ritek 8x dvd-r and it does not work it reads movies with the same dvd's though why would this happen I will try the original game and see if that works.

Ok the original still works but copies don't I have burnt is 3 times now 2 on ritek and 1 on LG dvd-rs all burnt at 4x, I have tried Imgburn and Nero.

I don't think it would be the dvd's as they work as a movie on the same discs what could be doing this When I turn on the PS2 it shows up the Matrix screen so the chip should be in right? When I download an update for the chip from the Matrix site is only had 1.88 version but the one on my chips shows 1.93 don't they update anymore.
