Since i didn't form my answer in the form of a question...

thinking of getting a PSP and wanted to know if its better to get a 2gig card or a bigger one? How much space does a back up take on the card?

also can you play backups online or do you have to do some extra steps to get it to work or not work at all.

Ive got a 2GB, 4GB & 8GB, all work fine, would recommend the 8GB though, is better for holidays etc obviously because it fits more on there.

You can play games using USBHOST/NETHOST on IRSHELL but they have to be on your computer and you have to be at home to play them using your computer I think. Not 100% sure, never really used it.

Although they look official, Deal Extreme is selling 8gig cards for 37 bucks. I got two and although they are printed with the Sony logo and claim they have Magigate (who needs it anyway)and also are a bit slower than official cards, I have had no problems running cso, iso and homebrew. I would recommend these since they are cheap. One catch though: they come from overseas and can take anywhere from 7-14 days and also the build on them feels cheap but they do the job. I installed all type of emulators on one card and use the other as a cso, iso and movie card. www.dealextreme.com
