I was wondering if anybody could tell me how to merge 2 TMPGEnc 4.0 XPress and/or DVD Author 3 .subtitle files.

I imported an .SRT file in DVD Author 3 and it got cut off half way through, so I managed to copy the last half to another file and imported that, but it deleted the other subtitles so I put the second .SRT in for Subtitle 2 and exported both of them (in the automatic .subtitle format) and put them together and changed the line numbers, but then it didn't import again.

I read in both help guides that "If the Subtitles list is not empty you have the choice to erase the list before loading the file or [to] merge the file contents with the list based on the subtitles display time", but neither of them did?

...Or is there a way in the options to use Sub1 and Sub2 together without having to switch them when the video gets to that point?
