i got custom firmware 4.01 M33 on my mem stick but whenever i start it it says game could not be started

What firmware are you on? You need to be on at least 3.52 M33-3.

Does anorexia induce constipation?

im on firmware 4.01 but i cant get cfw because i cant downgrade

Yes...that is right. You can't upgrade to cfw from ofw.

can someone help me i all ways get on my psp 80020148 error when i update 4.01m33 please help me i have 4.05 not 4.05m33.

You need a custom firmware to upgrade to 4.01 M33. Read the stickies to find out how you can get one.

And btw, posting your issue in profiles isn't the way to get attention, just make a new thread :)

the only way i know how to downgrade is to use a pandora batterie. but to make one u need cfw, but theres one more way to make one by hand but to make it u have to cut open the batterie

Okay... i got cfw 4.01 and i got a eboot consisting of iso psx files but when i go to run the files on my psp i get a data is corrupted... shouldnt u be able to run psx on 4.01m33?

im havin same problem as you mate im tryin to upgrade from 3.90 m33 to 4.01 m33 n when i put the update folder in psp/game folder then go to mem stick and run the update it also says data corrupted.have you sorted yours out mate??? if so let me know how u fixed it
