This is not a big problem for me I am just curious why is this happening. I burned five DVDs with NeroVision, everything is nice. When I play them on my DVD player everytime a chapter ends (there are 100 on each disk), there is a 3 second pause, until it continues. Why does it do that. The DVDs are DVD-R format which my DVD supports. Is it maybe because there are so many chapters? Also when I was creating the DVD with Nero Vision I cut some parts of the videos I didn't want to appear on the DVD, and when I play the disk on my DVD player, three seconds before the cut I made, the screen starts flickering. For every cut I made there is six seconds of flickering. It is not a big deal but it sure annoys me when I watch. The DVD is not scratched or anything, runs great on my PC with no pauses or flickering. My two guesses are that it is either my DVD players fault which is pretty bad, or it is because there are so many chapters, what do you think?
I was under the impression that the maximumchapters allowed in one title was 99 (although the DVD can have multiple titles each with 99 chapters).
If you have one title with 100 chapters it would seem to violate the standard - but it seems the PC media player doesn't care - maybe the standalone unit does.
I guess the way would be to reduce the chapters to 99 and retest.
I don't have Nero installed at the moment, therefor I cannot verify that it will allow their creation.
I would first cut back the burning speed to 4x maximum, then eliminate the disks as the problem by using 'Verbatim' brand and as a last resort reduce the number of chapters.
