how do you get max media manager? Can you download it or do you have to buy it? What if you have it already and when you click on it... it doesnt show up?

Is there something in particular you want to use it for? There are many other better free alternatives to Sony's offering.

If you're just trying to transfer music you can simply drag and drop mp3 and wma files to the Music folder on the PSP via the USB cable or by a media card reader.
