I have downloaded a .avi file but my avi to dvd conversion program (Santa)programs, and various players tell me that I have an incompatible media player.
I have the latest windows player, a divx player etc, real player.
The file is .....Xvid.DVDrip.english.avi
Any advice please.

Is the problem with the AVI not playing (does it play ok?) or that the file cannot be converted to DVD format or that the converted DVD doesn't play..
'VLC' does not require external codecs and plays most formats.
