How to playing PSP .iso games on my PSP

I can download the psp iso files fine off the net.
But how do you play them on the psp?
Do I need a PSP Emulator like the SNES?
Do I need to create a unique folder under GAMES???

I have CFW 1.50 fat and I want to play them. How can this be done.

My friend also wants to as well.
He has TA-082 CFW 4.01 M33-2 w/1.50 add on. (we went to recovery and ran it off 1.50 kernel and not create GAME150 folder, works fine for snes and emulators).

Please help...=[

first, upgrade to a custom firmware like 3.52 M33 with this guide

After, you got the same firmware as your friend. Reformat the card. There should be a ISO folder. Put the iso or cso inside that folder. Have fun !

Can I use Pandora to make it easier to Upgrade to 4.01 M33-2???

Ok, so I told my friend who has 4.01 M33-2 to make a Iso folder under Games folder because the iso folder was nowhere to be found...he made iso folder and added iso file.
On the psp under games, he said that he could only see the icon of the game(iso file), but he was not able to run it.
What else is needed?
Is there a guide for this?

Did he format the card through the PSP? Try this go to System Setting and Format Card. Afterward, go to USB mode. There should be a folder call ISO in the root of your MS. It will not be inside the PSP folder. I have 4.01M33-2 with 1.50 kernel add-on. I did the format through PSP and everything work.

oh, ok. Let me save his other emulators cuz they have games on them and let me try that out.

By the way, does this only work for 4.01 M33-2? can it work for 1.50 CFW which what I have?

I'm a noob like yourself but will all the guides out there that I've seen I recommend upgrade from 1.50 to 3.52 then go to 4.01. That's what I did and I put in the 1.50 kernel add-on. With 4.01 M33-2 I can play ISO and CSO files (ps1 and psp games). With the 1.50 add-on I can play homebrew such as emulators. That's how I did with my PSP and it ran smooth now. You can read and do however you like with your PSP. Now I just need a reliable source to get all my roms.
