What are my chances of a ds hinge replacement from nintendo

i emailed them about the hinge i bought it back in november or 2007 im still under warranty

i was very descriptive of my everyday use, pointed out that it is a know problem with ds lites. didnt post a link to a website siting the problem but i should have -_- expressed my concern and disappointment of the cracked hinge. pointed out that the hing cracked within the 1st 3 months of use. i said i believe it was faulty manufacturing and at the end to top it off i said i hope for a reply soon with some more info and hopefully set up a repair free of charge because i strongly believe it was faulty manufacturing.

OK, I just saw your other post. You have a DS phat.

You have two chances to get this replaced by Nintendo:

1) Slim

2) None

BTW, Slim just left town.

In other words, it is extremely unlikely that you will get this fixed for free.

i have a DS LITE with a cracked hinge my DS Phat is the one completely broken off

im trying to repair that myself because the warranty is gone off that and Nintendo would never replace it XD

the ds im talking about is a white NDS lite

Same answer. You can try, but the period for Nintendo doing that for free has LONG past.
