Is it too late to convert from VOB to AVI ?

Hi,
I ripped a movie with DVD Decrypter to my HD. At this point I usually
use Nero Recode and burn the VOB files to a DVD disc.

But I would rather have the movie as an AVI file on my HD. Is it too late to convert that directory full of VOB files to a single AVI?

I believe the DVD Decrypter mode setting was "File" and not "IFO".

I don't have Nero installed at the moment.
I think you can load the VOB files(VTS_01_1.VOB, VTS_01_2.VOB, etc) in 'Nero Vision' (they should be in the correct order, or adjust to suit).
There is a button on the lower left (centre of a group of three) that will merge them into one big file, then you can use the 'Export' button to convert to AVI.

My preferred route is to load the VOB files into AGK and let it convert them.

Load VTS_01_0.IFO and select predefined or custom size :I use Custom 700MB - it suits my simple needs.

AGK is best left to run uninterrupted or overnight.
