Hi All
Im having a major issue with my pc where i keep receiving the following error from my monitor:
Attention - No video input.

This problem started when my pc froze and when i rebooted it wouldnt go past the lan party splash screen, wouldn't let me go into bios or anything. I tryed resetting cmos by moving the jumper etc. All 4 led lights were now lit but no video input came up. I have since tryed unplugging and plugging everything back in, removing ram, removing video card, removing usb devices but havent received any beeps from my motherboard sayng they were missing. Not sure if its the psu but everything seems to be powering up ok and all fans are working so now im turning to you.
Please if any1 can help that would be great
Regards

4 LEDs on a LAN Party board means failed POST, so there was a problem with your CPU or RAM.

As for 'error loading OS' - does your hard disk show up in the BIOS?

yeh my hard drive shows up in bios, i tryed inserting windows disc and using fixboot command but that hasn't worked. i really dont want to have to format it if there is a solution out there somewhere. I dont know too much about bios settings so im guessing that because i resetted bios thats where this problems has came up.

Resetting the BIOS will have reset the order in which the board checks for the drives that have your OS on them. You need to go back into the BIOS and set the hard disk that has your OS on it to be the first priority.

You could perhaps try disabling the IDE/SATA channels you're not using.

finally got it up and running again, tweaked bios settings and also installed windows on a new hard drive, seems to have done the trick. But now my old slave drive is not recognized and i need all the data which is on it.
Any recommendations for data recovery services or software. Or any ways i can get it recognized again?

Are the jumpers on it set correctly for the cable/port it's using?
