HDLoader stopped detecting HDD

I had my PS2 on for a while in a game that was running off the HDD. When i went back to it I notcied I had knocked out the HDD adapter part-way. I fixed the adapter and restarted the PS2, and HDLoader gave me an error that no HDD was detected. I tried everything I could think of, making sure all connections were fine, even replaced the pin for putting the drive in master. I also hooked up the hdd to my pc and it's working fine with WinHiip. Right now I'm going to try reformatting it, I'd like to know if anyone has any other ideas. Also, I've tried it with both HDLoader .8c and b off a usb drive.

Just do a Scan/repair using WinHiip and see if that fixes it.

Repairing and formatting the disk didn't help, it's either something physical or something with HDLoader, the disk seems to be fine.
