Audigy2 and WinfastDVD

Hi

Anybody have problems with this combination? I replaced my old SB Live card with an audigy 2ZS in order to use the Creative Megaworks 550 that I found myself buying ...

Whenever I touch the hardware volume control, however, the DVD movie more or less freezes up.

I tried PowerDVD and WinDVD trial versions and they seem to work. But they are of course trial versions and Id rather not shell out $40 for the commercial version. I am also curious as to why WinfastDVD has stopped working - was always steady before.

Any thoughts or ideas?
