I have been researching a lot about homebrew apps and such, and I have found that, the only real program that combines a massive ammount of homebrew apps together is irshell. The reason I bring this up is because I was wondering if it would be possible for a n00b programer to design an app that is similar to irshell, but only made for a different purpose. Such as, Extracting .zip and .rar files, playing different movie formats, and just making the psp all arround more modder friendly?

As I said before I have researched and have obtained all the tools necesary, I just want to know if it would be possible, and how long aproximately it would take a n00b. Thanks!

Well it's not that easy to make a shell replacement on psp you should have a source code on making another shell replacement.
