M3 real not saving GBA games at all....

hey guys,

first post so go easy on me! Just wondering if I could ask for some help?

I used to have an R4, but I sold that in favour of an M3DS Real Perfect so that I could play my old GBA games. Unfortunately, the M3 doesn't seem to want to save any data. For example, when I'm playing Golden Sun and save the game, the next time I load up it treats the game like it's never been played before. Can anyone help me on this? I'm running the latest version of Sakura (english edition) and also the latest M3 firmware by the way.

Thanks so much for your help here! I'd really like to get back into all my old GBA games, some of them utterly rock!

you could try the original firmware seeing as sakura is buggy
or i think the problem may be that you using the fast load feature for roms that can sometimes delete your saves

just try it the normal way

i edit when i find the list with gba fast load compatibilty

yep, i've tried the basic M3 firmware before I tried Sakura. It still didn't work :( also tried fast loading and slow loading through the GBA menu and through the card menu...nothing working so far. Could it be a dodgy M3 card?

starting to annoy me cuz i spent a fair few quid n that M3 and it's not doing what I wanted and it drains battery like a bi*ch. I get about 3 hours of gameplay whether or not I've got the GBA expansion plugged in or not...ARGH!!! someone please help before I go over to the Sony side!

yeah its a bad card contact your retailer and explain your problem and they should replace it but contact them asap

and the sony side is great i go both ways =D
