Liteon Slimtype SOSW-833S stopped accepting media

My Liteon slimtype SOSW-833S has recently stopped accepting dvd media.

Its fine with DL discs and cds but just wont accept dvd media.

I know its not the brand as I'm towards the end of a 100 pack of verbatims whick all the others worked fine.

Have also tried some tdk and memorex and it wont take any.

When the media is put in the drive the drive just "hangs" making noises and windows doesn't even pop up to say any media has been inserted.

Help please!!
