D-pad - analog swap for psx games?

Is there anything that will allow me to swap the D-pad for analog controls in ps1 games? Trying to move diagonally on the PSP D-pad seems like a nightmare for me.

Push the Home button on your PSP and then go to the controller settings. I don't have my PSP with me, but I believe the last controller setting (option 4) lets you use the analog stick instead of the D-Pad.
