got the nero 8 ultra and went to use the nero rescue agent and no matter what disk i put in its not picking up my drives just says pleas select drive from the drop down arrow whats going on some one help please.

i had the same exact problem nero rescue agent was not loading my cd/dvd rom this is what i did, first close nero rescueagent then i went to the nero rescue agent installation directory which is shown below in
windows vista home edition

C:\Program Files\Nero\Nero8\Nero Toolkit\RescueAgent

i right click the "RescueAgent" file and selected properties from the drop menu then i click on the compability tab and put a check mark on the box that says Run this program in compatibility mode for
and selected Windows XP (Service Pack2) click apply and OK son the buttons at the bottom

then i click on Start botton click on the search box and type Nero RescueAgent when the file pop up right click it and select run as administrator
