I have been downloading a t.v. series using Azureus and they are all .avi files, The 1st four seasons came down with no problems and still play fine. my problem started with season 5, about half of the episodes won't play, if I right click on them most of the menu options are missing like delete, rename, property's ect. They cannot be deleted and I have tried many ways to achieve this, even using the command line.
They will not load into anything, when I try, I get either the file-name is too long or the file is missing message.
I tried downloading another avi with the same results, so it looks like any .avi I download will be no good.
I have run a virus and spyware checker over them but niether will scan these files. I recently had some updates for windows installed but cannot think of anything else that has changed on my p.c.
Any ideas would be much appreciated,

I don't know if this will work, but if you don't have VLC media player then get it. Sometimes i get corrupt avi files and it fixes them so they'll play. Anyways good luck.
