Appologies for my ignorance,
I've been reading about emulating sims for different reasons, is this still possible ? Or with moden phones and the technology now used at the providor does this no longer work?

I'm wanting to clone my own sim and then change it so that it apears to the phone to be from another network, this so the phone thinks its on its locked network and then will allow me to use my contract sim from T-Mobile with a handset locked to '3'

The emulator claims to use a 'silver' card for this, which I happen to have from playing with satellite cards, but before I cut up my silver card does anyone think this is going to work?
