My friend says he got a copy of the NFL 09 for the Xbox. They said the NFL 08 was the last game released for the Original Xbox. Is this for real ? Will developers release newer games for the Xbox ?

No, unfortunately the 08 version of Madden was the last game released for the Original Xbox.

That's a pretty cool move by EA, there are a lot of people who can't afford an xbox 360. So this is just smart planning by them. Not many sports games are popular (some people don't even play sports games) so if they expand the platforms for like xbox and ps2 then they have pretty much doubled the market.

Woah, I didn't see that coming. Yeah, I can't afford a 360 (embarrassing, I know) so I thought I was stuck with old games, but it looks like I will have something new to play. Thanks Mr.Gooey for the news!
