popsloader on 4.01 M33-2

Hi
I want to play FFVII on 4.01m33-2 and for that I have to use the 3.71 popsloader, otherwise it freezes on the intro movie. I heard that although there isn't a 4.01 popsloader yet the 3.80 files work as well, so I put them on my psp, but when I press R when I start the game I don't get any menu, although the plugin is enabled.
I've already managed to run FFVII on 3.90m33 using the 3.71 popsloader but now I can't get the menu to open up.
