Hey Guys I got a HDTV movie from HDNET that I need to convert to an Xbox 360 readable file. Its a .TS [Transport Stream] [Mpeg 2] file, 18.4 gigs, 1920 x 1080i just for the record. I WON'T be streaming the movie from my PC to my Xbox 360, I will be putting it on a 500 gig external drive that I have as an HFS+ Mac Drive (so I don't get 4 gig limitations). I've tried using TMPGenc to convert it to WMV-HD which took around 4-5 days. The end product was good, however there are jitters in some scenes. So thats no good. I've also tried it in a converting software I have called Xilisoft Video Converter Ultimate. Converted it to .MOV HD which looked noticeably worse and it wont play on my 360 even with 2 channel [Stereo] and it took around 10-11 hours to convert. Before trying to convert to the .mov HD file I did a sample and it worked perfectly, so why does show the red circle when I try to load the full movie on my 360? I've also tried converting to .mp4 with 2 channel stereo and the 360 still wont recognize it. Anyone have any idea want I can convert this to so I will know as well as others.
