SWap magic wont boot backups

1. Load swapmagic DVD
2. Swap swapmagic without ps2 knowing for backup
3. Press X
4. Disc starts spinning then instead of booting backup goes to browser and tries to load the disc ofcourse its a backup so it wont work! WHY DOES IT DO THIS!!!???

Sorry forgot to say im using Verbatim discs. Not those crappy memorex shit.

OK good that you are not using Memorex lol. You sure you swapped the discs out right? Moved the lever to the left, pulled out disc tray, insert disc, moved lever back to the right, press X? How did you burn the .iso?

Ok sorry i've got a slim a modded slim not a modchip slim just modded. So when swap magic comes up I just take the disc out without the ps2 knowing and put my backup in and when it boots (if it does) it goes to the browser.

what game are you trying to boot? some games aren't compatible with Swapmagic and may need a patch.

That happened to me too. What version of SM do you have? If you have a NTSC version PS2, make sure you select NTSC instead of PAL or Default. It worked for me when I did that.
