I have done everything portforward.com says to do. I have searched this and many other forums searching for a fix and I still cannot get my ports forwarded. I still have the yello icon in uTorrent.

So I will just show you what I have and what I have done and see if I can get any help once and for all.

I set up my static IP.

IP Address: 192.168.1.3

Subnet Mask: 255.255.255.0

Default Gateway: 192.168.1.1

And my DNS servers are correct.

I am using a Linksys WRT54G Version 6 Router with Firmware version 1.02.5

I am using uTorrent 1.6.1 Build 489

I followed the instructions on portforward.com to a T!

I am running Windows XP Service Pack 3 and have the Windows Firewall setup to allow Utorrent. I also use Eset Smart Security Business Edition 3.0.645.0 and I have Windows Firewall set up.

I have turned off both the windows firewall and turned off Eset altogether and still I cannot seem to forward my port.

I can download torrents just fine. The problem seems that I cannot upload at all. I have that yellow icon in the status bar of utorrent. I hope I have provided enough info, if not I will gladly tell you what you need to know.

Check this list for your ISP, if you don't see it, there are more too so just name it, maybe someone knows: http://www.azureuswiki.com/index.php/Bad_ISPs Disable UPnP at options>preferences>connection and make sure the port you forwarded is the same in utorrent, over 10,000 and not the default. Disable randomize port there too. There may be something in this jpg you can use: http://www.plucky.org/component/option,c...le,torrent.jpg/ Edit: and use Protocol Encryption: http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/395674

Have you allowed both TCP and UDP ports in the firewall exceptions?
