Hi, I just bought some new hardware for my pc and I have all my backup software so I thought I should just completely re-install windows and format my hard drive. I had Mcafee which I never really liked and currently I have norton which I like a little bit more because it's lighter than Mcafee.
My question is:
What is the best software for Internet Security, Firewall, Spyware that is the lightest on my system? I don't want parental controls or spam filters for my email and all that other crap that just wastes space. I just want a thorough virus protection, firewall, internet security, and anti-spyware that isn't heavy on my system. What is the best software for this?

The best is the free "returnil". It's a last line of defense on internet security. Anytime you go on the internet engage "returnil", this will instantly put your computer into virtual mode (everything will run in memory with nothing being written to harddrive). Any virus/malware that bypass your antivirus/firewall will only live in memory, if you open an infected email it only lives in memory. A simple reboot is required to go back to real mode, this removes all traces of what occured while you had returnil engaged.
It is so effective in deleting all traces of virus/spyware that I removed my antispyware software which was slowing me down.
returnil is perfect to keep a new computer/installation of windows clean. If you have spware/virus already in your computer "returnil" won't delete or detect spyware.
