If that is the case, you've got a configuration issue with refit, not grub. You probably have the Windows loader pointing to the wrong partition, as that is all that grub does afterall with the chainloader part. I'd say RTFM, but the documentation looks so shallow and superficial that probably won't even help, it just appears to do everything by magic, then when it doesn't work you're stranded.
Pretty typical (cr)apple, their products are all show and no go (in this case Boot Camp, but almost everything they push is half baked once you look past the glossy exterior). The position their wares as being super premium products worthy of super premium prices, but the hardware is mediocre at best, and the software often doesn't even contain features that even entry level competitors have. But I guess nobody with an iPhone 3G would want MMS or a forward facing camera for video calling. And why bother with bluetooth file transfers when you have a big fat data plan for wireless transfer. And why bother with an SD slot when you've got 8GB built in. And removable batteries are for chumps too.
Anyway, sorry about that vent. Your problem appears to be configuration (of refit, NOT grub), you're just asking in the wrong place for help.
well it worked fine booting windows until i installed ubuntu with grub
i will agree that their hardware is not the best (only on the macbook and the mini mac tho) other wise they have good hardware that is optimized for their operating systems
like i say to my friends who hate macs

grub probably changed the mbr, why not have a look at it's config files. it should boot anything as long as the paths are right, even another bootloader ;)
