my new R4 card will not get past LOADING screen

iv just purchased a R4 card and 1gb SD micro card from Amazon, via Digizo, iv followed the instructions for the latest firmware, i.e english 1.21 from the R4 site and loaded these onto my SD micro, so i have the sys, DS_MSHL, DS_MENU.dat and DS_MENU.config, tried it without the config as seen from your previous Q+A.

the problem i have is that when i laod this into the DS and boot, it never gets past the LOADING screen. now iv seen from previous hits for this problem, that it could be a fack R4 or suspect SD rom, been as these have just been purchased and from name company, does anyone have any other answers or do i try and return them and try somewhere else, are there different types etc??

been as im new to this, is it correct that the DS_MSHL is the nick-O-matic factory project ikon???

is this the correct format etc??
