Hi guys my name is Jason and I am new to all this I just got a chipped PS2 and I don't know where to start lol. I am pretty useless at computers soI was wondering if anyone could help. Is it just a case of I download a game say Smackdown vs RAW 08 for example and burn it to a DVD and presto it will play on my PS2. I know there is online guids but they make no sense to me at all lol. Also where do I download back up games. Any help would be great.

I'm pretty new to this too but I'll try to help you.

For your question on downloading PS2 games...

There are torrent sites that let you download files with a torrent client though.

-First of all you need a DVD burner and a modded PS2.
-You also need good quality DVD media. I just started backing up my games and these Verbatim 16x DVD+R (Made in Taiwan) work great. (I burned those DVD's at 4x speed it worked better than 2x speed.)

When you get your ISO/MDS/IMG file on your computer hard drive, you can burn it with a program like DVD Decryptor. After its done burning you can just play it by putting it in your PS2 since you have a chipped PS2, and play.
