On utorrent, I am averaging a 2.3 kb/s download speed and 163 B/s upload speed for a 100 MB file that has 5 seeds. Is this too slow considering i have dsl that claims to have a 768 Kbps/128 Kbps Maximum Downstream/Upstream speed? And if it is, how can i increase it? Should i call my ISP and complain?

Also, I am not a leecher - I am seeding everything i download until my share ratio is about .700 is that enough?

Thanks in advance. I will respond to posts.

Well roskilde2, You have alot of useful stuff out there. I would suggest you to look out for more seeders because 5 aren't enough..In the other hand, i would at your place limit my seeding =)

roskilde2 it depends on what you have your upload settings set at, i would recomend seting it at when downloading set the upload speed at 10 kb up, and have your download set to max, when you are not downloading, set your upload to max, also you say you keep seeding to a ratio when it gets to .700 make sure you seed to at least 1 to 1, because if you get on a private site you will need to keep up a good ratio or you could get banned from the site. good luck

Does a port test at options>speed guide show red or green. If red, do you use a router or firewall. Disable UPnP at options>preferences>connection and use a port over 10,000 that isn't the default. Check this list for ISP's that throttle and there are more so just post it if it's not there and someone may know: http://www.azureuswiki.com/index.php/Bad_ISPs Use Protocol Encryption: http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/395674 and set your upload at options>speed guide>connection type after a speed test. Just select the upload closest to yours. Your speed equates to a DL/UL of 96 kB/16 kB, still far from what utorrent is getting now.
